Welcome to the Social Psychology of Music Blog.

This blog is established to give public place to the social psychological considerations of music and specifically music education. This is a relatively new field in the tension between sociology and psychology - with a strong social constructivist pull. In this blog members of the graduate music program at the University of Toronto will post reviews and reflections of research, professional papers, books, movies, videos, etc. We welcome you responses.
